Went out this afternoon and saddled up Pilgrim and brought the cows in and sorted off a few who are older and/or thinner. None are in bad shape yet, but it’s easier to keep them in good shape than to try and get them in good shape. Especially them ol’ gummer cows. Also I sorted off the butcher steer. Bob and Shadow were good help. Here’s some pictures.

Yeah it is Jake. A guy had me make it years back and he’d used it as a barebones rig but never used it too much. He swapped it back to me and it’s just set around for a spare. Now I am covering it, but will have no skirts and using an older set of stirrup leathers.
