Went out and saddled Mijo and went and moved all the yearlings to the far south pastures. He tried to hog with me a little after I warmed him up, but stopped as soon as I showed him I didn’t care for that kind of crap! He’s a tuffy. Hardly broke a sweat and weContinue reading “Tuesday 8/26/08”

All the kids and grandkids were home this weekend so we could baptize Lige and Sam. Deacon Tyler, their uncle was the one who baptized them, so that was pretty cool. I finally got my wagon boxes switched around today and also built a wagon seat with springs. Took the loader down south this morningContinue reading “Seem to be busy”

Pretty cool when this country looks like June, in the middle of August. Got some gigs this week. Thursday, I go to Camp Crook for their 100 yearContinue reading “Busy”
Doctoring yearlings
Rick came over and helped Chance and I doctor some yearlings. Usually I just have Chance to help me or I am by myself so it’s hard to get pictures. This time I sluffed off and let them two do a bunch and I just took pictures of the action. Here’s a few.
Awesome!
This was posted as it said. I think it’s the best I have ever read. As the Supreme Court was hearing arguments for and against the Washington, D.C., Gun Ban, this was offered as another stellar example of a letter (written by a Marine) that places the proper perspective on what a gun means toContinue reading “Awesome!”
