Went to the neighbors on Monday morning to help ship their calves. Went real well. Had a good crew, so it wasn’t unexpected. Also a real nice morning.
Chance and I got the bred heifers in yesterday and after lunch Cindy helped us and we ear tagged and put individual brands on them. Came up short one, but I am pretty sure she is down with the pairs. We are pegging tomorrow so we can tag her then and maybe brand her too.. or sort her off so we can do it later..
Wind is going to howl today and then ease off for tomorrow and looks like just keep it up for the next few days. Cooler and there is a chance of rain. we need it. Fires have been scary this fall. Still quite a bit of old grass and no one needs it to burn.
