Coming out of the south east… not real cold… supposed to slowly switch around to the northwest over the next 12 hours or so.. I went out this afternoon and fed them out of the wind in the north lot.. then this evening I saddled Mijo and went out and brought all the pairs but one new one in and kicked them north.. I took Buck dog along and he sure helped to keep them paired.. just sat back a long distance and made them nervous enough that they’d take their calves and drift with the wind… hopefully this deal will stay as rain and not switch to snow, tho’ they are calling for a little Sunday night and maybe Monday morning.. we’ll see, you never know in this country. Atlas proved that… looks like we may get a couple inches of moisture anyway and I know it’s going to warm up, so that will make the grass pop and we need that…
A south east wind blows no good, they say.
Yup….
