Chance and Hopes second son, Sam is 4 years old today! Hopefully we will get to see him. Because I just love to give kids their birthday spankings on their birthday! π
Mike, I will pass that on to Sam. His mother , of course, is so going to kick your ass this spring tho’! π
I hope to be riding it soon.
Number means the 42 saddle I’ve made, Feb, 2012. Hopefully it will be done by then! π
That way, every saddle has it’s own unique number, so if ever lost or stolen, can be traced. I have built more saddles than that, but some were not completely done by me or were not finished, ie. skeleton rigs. Just the purdy ones get a mark! Should make them worth more some day to some collector.
Very Nice… I was gunna share this on my wall.. But I guess Ur blog is to cool for me… π₯ LOL!
Yeah, too cool/ Boys rule, girls drool! π
Tell Sam happy birthday for me and that he should celebrate with fireworks. Kinda cold outside so he should just set them off in the living room. π
Nice looking saddle you going to ride it for branding in the spring? What is the 43212 about? Have you made that many saddles?

Thanks! Sure glad I ain’t a teamster and just a man who uses a team to feed and fence with! π
Come visit and I will let you touch the saddle, but not with your butt! π
Looks good! You know if you spent less time on the computer and more time in the saddle shop it would be done in the spring. π
Well heck, where is the challenge in that Jake? π
The saddle is looking good, can’t wait to see the finished saddle. Keep up the good work. What tree did you use in it?
It’s a LaPorte, cable rig, new Wade.
