Pearl Harbor day. Good time to remember we are never completely safe. And take actions to be prepared. Kind of like the Advent song we have been singing, “Prepare Ye the Way”.
Such a gorgeous day out there that even Gramma went with me to feed and chore this morning. She claim’s I only married her for someone to open gates, so I made her prove it!
Fed around here then took some bean up west to the cows. Here’s some pictures.
Looking back up northwest to the creek at the horses grazing
Rocky hill off to the northeast of me
Home. Looking at it south east of me
at the bottom of the picture is a hole where someone had a barn dug into the side of the hill years ago
Cows grazing the bottom
Tree plot where Great Grampa’s house sat along side the creek
This little bottom was where Great Grandma had her garden
So those reddish tree? Golden willows my Great Grandfather planted by sticking a twig in the mud
You are so right! And in today’s world I continue to wonder and to be thankful for our freedom’s. My Dad’s best friend has just sailed out of the harbor a day before….he was lucky.
Dang, it looks cold there.
Love the shot of the back of the team.
I suppose weenies from the south and Nazi’s would think it’s cold. 😉
