Gus

Chance got a job working on some road construction over east a ways from here, so Gramma kept the boys on Monday and Tuesday, and then a near neighbor of theirs kept them on Wednesday. Gus has a little cold or something, anyway he has a runny nose and the young lady didn’t want to give it to her kids, so the Chance and Hope asked if I could watch Gus yesterday. I had nothing better to do so said I would. We didn’t get a lot accomplished! Crackerjack didn’t get his eye doctored as often as he was supposed to, as I didn’t realize that Gus can escape the crib! Little booger just crawls out someway, so I was afraid to leave him when he went to take his nap, for fear he would wake up and escape and get into trouble while I was out side. Oh well I just doctored him a little later than normal. His eye is getting better I think. While I doctored on Crackerjack, Gus found a way to amuse himself with Patches.

  1. Gus looks like he is a pro already with the horses! He is adorable! It doesn’t take them long to get into mischief when you aren’t looking! I remember once when I had left my daughter, she must of been 5 and went in the house to go to the rest room and came back out and no Tawny, I yelled, and yelled and finally I heard this little voice calling back and saying I am in here, she had walked into the cattle shed and the ground was up to the open windows on the north side of the building and I look down and there she is standing up against the wall with all these black cows looking at her figuring out what this little person was. Scared the living daylights out of me! I told her to calmly walk back out the way she came! The parted and just let her walk on by! Could not believe it!
