Mijo is getting better and better with the use he has got at these brandings.
Tuesday was a nordfork branding, today was a head and heel. Great weather and food and work.

Great photos..I really enjoyed seeing bear butte and that shot of the water hole and the windmill was awesome.
I have a great appreciation for the ropers..they are a talented bunch..I suppose it is easy if you are born and raised on a ranch. My brother and I used to try to rope fence posts when we were bored on the farm..binder twine doesn’t work very good, but we gave it a heck of a try:)
Glad you enjoyed them. No, growing up on a ranch doesn’t seem to make much difference, else there would be lots more, better ropers around here! Practice and a passion for it with a mentor seems to work the best.
