Yup. Branding. Went well. chance went with me. When we got home we banded two yearling bulls. I took some pictures to show you how you can rope the hind feet, get close and tie off to the saddle horn so you can work on a critter and they can’t get away. Chance is setting on the front, but he wouldn’t have to.



You make it sound easy but I know it can’t be all that easy 😉
It’s pretty easy, once you get the hang of it.
That looks like a really big calf!
Actually a scrub yearling. He was a bucket calf bum from last year who left the corals to go live with the big cattle too early and so he is stunted. also out of a Corrientee cow, so he wasn’t going to get too big anyway. Maybe 1000 to 1400 pounds, mature weight.
I think perhaps your horse is very well trained..these are great photos:)
