When I fed the colts and calves in the corral yesterday morning I plugged the tractor in. Went over to Punkin Center about noon and ate lunch and got a big bag of extruded soybean for the critters. When I got home I started the tractor and backed the baler I am tearing apart, out of the shop, hooked onto the bag of bean and unloaded it inside the shop, backed the baler in and parked the tractor. Then I went and played with the filly, pictured. She’s Peaches 09 filly. Must be related to every one around here cuz she seems a trifle hard headed! ‘Course, it could have just been my poor skills at presenting to her what I wanted. I’d felt pretty good, but as soon as I started doing things, I got to feeling poorly again. Sure will be nice when this crud goes away.

I talked to Hope and she said the doctor has the boys all jacked up on their meds. She heard Gus talking away to something by the bookshelf so she walked over and he had him a mouse he was trying to coax out. She got a jar and put some peanut butter on the rim and in a shot time, Gus had captured his mouse! They took it outside and let it go, but she thinks Buddy, the Corgie probably had a mouse for dinner!

Glad to hear them boys are feeling better. Cindy and Tyler went to Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood yesterday and looked at all the hand and foot prints in the cement. Sounds like they are having fun. Good for them. They can have all that country. Too many people and too much city to suit me!

Go read Dickiebo’s blog. He’s really on a roll today!

  1. Hope the meds work good! I don’t mind visiting the city but I tell you what, one day is plenty for me! Way too many people for me also.
