Had a couple neighbors come this morning and help Chance and I bring the steers in and load them on trucks for the sale. We drove up and watched them sell. Gained around 2 pounds a day, looks like. I thought they might have done better than that, with all the feed. We were short 3 head and Chance looked all around us for them, while I was gone to Iowa for a gig this weekend, but couldn’t find any, so I guess I need to call the neighbors.
We built on some corrals the other day and need to do some work on the loading chute. Where we added the new stretch of fence on, we need to go in and take the old fence out and salvage all we can for the chute project and also any other thing we need posts and planks for.
Guess what I am going to be doing for the next few days? LO
Today is my sister Marianne’s birthday. I better go call her and wish her a happy birthday!
