Stupid cold!

It’s just getting worse. Just as everyone has been telling me it would. I hate when they do that.

  •  I was reading this on a forum from a lady who I know. I asked if I could post it and she said I could. She really can sling the words around.
  • Okay, I gotta share this with you guys. I finally got around to emailing Ford about the problems I have been having with my truck and about a few other issues I have with Ford.

  • This is her reply to that form letter.
  • I’m sorry, but I don’t think Ford has any business in this endeavor, either. If you want to spend some money on things other than actual car and truck building, then use your money to influence Congress to let the oil companies drill for oil in the Gulf and ANWR and to build more refineries. Your business is making a product that burns fossil fuel. We need more fuel and more refineries. We need to quit letting the Liberal interest groups like the environmentalists force their whacko ideas on the rest of the country to the point where we are doing things that are counter-productive and downright anti-American. The global warming hysterics are looking more and more ridiculous as well as just plain wrong. Don’t follow them off the cliff like a bunch of lemmings. As for saving wild mustangs…I’m not sure that’s such a geat idea. The animal rights dimwits have abolished horse slaughter in the country and that is going to have disastrous effects on the horse world. The law of unintended consequences is going to be visited upon this do-gooder fiasco as it has been through history on all government meddling in private enterprise.Henry Ford built a great company by supplying the American consumer with an affordable car. He did more to lift up a whole people than any activist group could ever hope to do. Please get back to his legacy and quit trying to assuage the special interests in this country. If you do that, you might actually save the company and make it profitable once again. And give us loyal Ford truck owners a reason to keep buying Ford trucks. Lately, I haven’t seen much of that.Reading what Bill Ford, CEO, said, I’m thinking he might have been better suited to join the Peace Corps instead of given the helm of one of the greatest capitalist ventures of all time.Jill ……
  • Way to go Jill. They are not mustangs , they are feral horses. Just like if we turned a bunch of dogs loose to survive, they would not become wolves. They would be wild dogs. Not wolves. Not mustangs. Wild, feral horses.
  • The people in this country really scare me at times. I’m glad there are a few like Jill who will go to the effort to send off letters like this. I sure hope it does her some good.
  • Now, I think I will go shoot myself so I will feel better. Fricken cold!

  1. You are a hoot. A birth control company needs to feature you in an add as a reason to take their product. If not for you posting on the internet, I would imagine you living in a cave grunting to your fellow inhabitants.

I need to save this site when I need a good laugh. Hard to imagine people as narrow minded as you exist, thankfully you are a rapidly vanishing breed of poorly bred people.

  2. Glad I good give you a laugh. People like you are the reason this country is going to hell in a hand basket.

Yup, I’m kind of a caveman, but at least I know what is right, what is wrong and what is the truth. I’ll bet you don’t.

If birth control was such a great thing, you wouldn’t be here, would you?

Your probably an advocate for birth control in people yet want to let animals rule your life. Poorly bred huh? Yeah, you and Hitler had that in common. Bedwetting, crybaby, liberal twit.

  3. I wasn’t going to comment on this post, although I agree quite strongly with what you and Jill had to say…I was just busy yesterday and couldn’t take time.
However, after reading your first commenter I had to chime in with my two cents worth. What a classy and fact-filled way to contradict your opinions she uses. (Reminds me exactly of a kid on the playground calling somebody names.) I guess that is because she can’t come up with any contradictory arguments that can be supported with tangible data so she had to choose rude remarks to make her point.

  4. Glad to see popular opinion is on my side so far. 🙂

And I might not have responded quite so rudely if it wasn’t for this blasted cold I have. I am afraid I am going to live.

    Sorry for that SUE. 😉

And Brenda, it’s Tack, for the new puppy’s name.

Oh, and I am glad that at least we live in a country where people like Sue are free to respond, even if I don’t agree with her. Or him, if it’s the Sue from the old Johnny Cash song!

  5. Sure, let’s bash a company that is making a contribution to save some horses, because it makes people like Jill who support horse slaughter look bad for not doing a damn thing but complaining.

While she may not support that cause, she then suggests using that money to… lobby Congress to build more oil refineries? Not like we don’t have any money going into the lobbying of Congress already. Yep, just so she can keep filling up her Ford. How charitable of her. The reason that this country is going to hell in a hand basket is because of people like her, that don’t give a sh$t about anything that doesn’t affect them personally. Let’s hope that she doesn’t need to ask for any help in her lifetime.

Popular opinion is still on your side, only by one now. And now I’m going to the Ford website to thank them for their support of this program.

  6. So,we have another whiney, handout, looking for the government to solve all their problems liberal showing up and spouting off at us who take a realistic view of the world.

Lady, you couldn’t hold a candle to Jill who actually loves horses and works with them on a daily basis. So shut up and go drink some “whine” with your liberal, ruin the world buddies.

Save some horses? Why, so they can make more to starve to death? Sure , real good plan. I hate spending my tax dollars to keep some trashy horses locked in a pen and fed like slaughter cattle so you twits can feel like we are solving a problem and you can pat yourselves on the back because of what kind compassionate people you are. Get real. Pull your heads out and go see what is reaqlly going on.

They are feral horses and should at least have the kindness to be humanely put down and not made to suffer, just so you idiots can think we have real “mustangs” running around.

  7. Yeah, I’ve never had to ask for help… that is so typical of the liberals. Has she had to ask for help? If so, who would she prefer to ask for help from, the government, her father, her church, her own abilities? That has nothing to do with what I said. We are a country of capitalists. It’s the best, most powerful country in the world because of FREEDOM and FREE MARKET CAPITALISM! Learn it! Love it! Live it! Dammit! We need to fix our educational system or you’re gong to be reading more nonsense like this.

Alternative energy isn’t going to get us out of this energy mess. We need to drill and refine. It’s that simple. When you try to use corn, your raise the price of food for the poorest of countries. And for all of us. We are not at the point where we can use alternative fuels. We need to drill for oil and buld more refineries. It’s as simple as that. The Liberal interest groups and their whores in the media are what is standing in the way.

These morons have no clue about reality and what happens when you have too many unwanted animals. When you stop the slaughter of unwanted animals, it increases the number because people think they can just dump their unwanted animals with no guilt. You can’t just dump your responsibilties. Sorry PETA. Sorry dipshit, feel-good liberals. It’s a fact.

  8. “A business that makes nothing but money is a poor business.”
    –Henry Ford

My point was, what is wrong with a little charitable work? Many companies give back to their community; gee, what a concept. Just because Ford isn’t throwing all of their money into oil refineries, we have some here who have to have something to bitch about. Put your energy into something constructive; it sure isn’t this.

As far as stopping slaughter, how does that increase the number of people who think they can just dump their animals? What happened to personal character and responsibility? Not a real “liberal” concept, is it?

If you think that anyone posts a response that disagrees with you is just a whiny liberal, well, then yes, the educational system has certainly failed you. Oh, and that PETA remark really hurt; too bad I’ve never had anything to do with them in my life.

I’ll let Dennis and Jill get back to patting each other on the back since they obviously can’t stand anyone having any opinions but their own.

  9. An idealist is a person who helps other people to be prosperous.
    Henry Ford

I am stunned about how naive people can be about animals. They end up endangering the ones they think they are protecting.

And yes, to stop our dependence on foreign oil, we need to increase domestic drilling and refineries. To help people be prosperous you don’t tie their hands with ridiculous regulations.
