Mijo the stallion and the two weaner colts. They sure are haired up and fuzzy, ain’t they?
For those of you who haven’t been reading this blog for very long, I have a niece in California- well actually, Cindy does- she is horse crazy, according to her mom. Of course I’m having to take her mom’s word for it because she won’t come out and prove it to me, here at the ranch. Some silly nonsense about the cost of transportation or her having to work or something.
Anyway, I try to keep some horse pictures on here for Mad to look at. We’ll see if she approves of these.
It’s been a long dry spell, huh Mad? 😉
By the way, Mijo is the sire to the two colts pictured. I think he’s pretty proud of them. Especially the little bay filly who is always pinning her ears and chasing the 3 calves in the corral with her, when ever they meet her disapproval! LOL
The little dun is Beaver’s nephew.
How’s Mijo bred?
Good morning to the Dennis Gang! YOu have made your niece a very happy girl! We Pass Nellie Gate Ranch on the way to school every morning~~ She is convinced all the ponies we see are Uncle Bob’s! The 25 cent pony at WalMart is uncle bobs! We have a stuffed pony she calls Bob! At school (daycare) they asked her what she does for excercise??? Her answer??? She walks the dog and rides bob’s ponies! Ummm we don’t have a dog!!! Heaven Help me!
Thanks for the pictures
Imagine my surprise this evening when I mosied on over to check your blog and saw the heading, “Here you go Mad”…
My name is Madelyn and I go by “Mad” as well –
I don’t know how I found my way to your place, but I thoroughly enjoy vicariously living the ranch life through you.
Thanks so much,
~Mad(elyn) in Alabama
Here I am on your site Bob. It looks pretty good. When I get Paula back from Sturgis, I’ll have to come visit you guys!
