Sorry Mad, I tried to up load some pictures of the colts for you, but this blog wouldn’t do it. I don’t know why, I ain’t a computer guy! Hey! That rhymed! 🙂
Drove the team again today and yesterday. made a pretty good circle. I worked on the evener so that Ron was pulling a little more than Roz. They are getting better, it just takes time. when I came back, Gabe was out in the hog pasture where the horses come in to drink and where there are a couple of lick barrels, playing with Nip. Shadow had followed me.
Anyway, when I got the horses unhooked and unharnessed and turned loose, I hollered at Gabe to come over where I was, and when he did, I saw he had been sampling the lick barrels. I guess if they are good enough for the horses they ought to be good enough for an almost 3 year old boy, huh? LOL
Kids will be kids.
Yeah, I doubt it will hurt him any. One of our hired men had a little boy who ate dirt all the time. I’d find him in the yard with mud and gravel running down his chin. Then my mom says she favored chicken manure when she was little.
