I drove these two again this afternoon.

Dean came over and helped me out.I switched sides with them and drove them as they are standing in this picture. Normally you put the bigger horse on the right side, but Ron didn’t seem to like it very good last time on the right, so I switched them and I think it helped. Dean helped me get Roz going and after that they were fine. Sure am glad I put a heavier tounge in the chariot as Roz laid on it pretty hard several times. I’ll try and drive them again tomorrow and the next day. A solid week of driving and they should be fine and ready to do about anything i’ll want them to do, at this time and their age.

Got up over 30 today. Wimmen went to town. Me and the dogs stayed home and worked. I got some work done on a saddle and got leather mellowing to do some more this evening.

Remember the national Finals are on ESOPN tonight again. I just love the bronc riding and the rest is okay. We have a pretty good representation from around this part of the world down there.

A feller I know who lives in the northwestern part of the state, up where I got Ron and Roz from, started a blog and I just found out about it. Great pictures and good reading. you better check it out. I have it on my favorites list on the computer now.

  1. “look mom…pony butt’s” thanks for the giggles! It never ceases to amaze me what 3 year olds find funny!

  2. Anything to do with that part of the anatomy on any creature cracks up the little ones. I found that out with my niece. Just saying poopy or poopy butt will drive them into giggling fits.

Loved the panoramic picture at the top. Looks just like South Dakota winter.

  3. Hey JB, those are some nice looking horses! Good luck with them. I might have to come over and see them sometime.

    Thanks for the plug too.

  4. Tap, come any time that works for you. Maybe they will be going good enough we could go out for a spin. πŸ™‚
