Had a fellow and his family from Illinois stopped in this evening and dropped his trailer off. Nice family. Cute kids. They will be back in a few days after they have traveled to Montana and back for their vacation. Probably be taking at least one horse home with them when they head back.
Such a beautiful day today. Hope this weather lasts until after we get all the cattle shipped.
Tho’ we will always take rain, in this country. 🙂

Snow…. no thanks. Just mowed our lawn this afternoon which I enjoy doing. Moving snow around is not my thing at all. Enjoying the sun and changing leaves of fall for now. 🙂 I read Jim’s word’s of wisdom each day along with yours now. Wish I could write half as good as each of you… oh well guess I will stick to raising these funny twin ladies of the house.

Last Sat. we had 6 inches of the wettest snow I have seen in a long while! It was great, except for the broken trees, and they are a little concerned about the potato harvest. It melted in 2 days so we also had lots of MUD. Wished the storm would have come your way with rain!
