Got a question for you.

The Mrs. told me a while ago, that she occasionally looks at and reads this blog. She mentioned that if she was a regular reader she wouldn’t be interested in my veiw on politics.

I guess I didn’t realize I was giving my view on politics, but on things I like and dislike.

So I ask you, ever faithful readers, do you want me to just keep this going as a personal diary/journal and leave off any political comments, or keep going as I have been?

Please let me know.

If everyone is tired of my political viewpoint, I may just make a separate category and post all that stuff under there.

Please leave comments on this subject.

Gig

I went up in the hills close to Deadwood and performed with a buddy, Paul Larson, after a trail ride, to raise money for the Cancer unit at Rapid City Hospital. I went up last year also and entertained. They had an auction of donated items again this year. Sounds like they had twice as many riders as last year and raised more than twice as much money. Geezer that I am I ran off and left a couple sets of bridle reins I had made to donate, so we gave the buyers card and they gave me their addresses so I can send them the reins. I hate losing my mind. Got home about midnight so didn’t want to get up and go to church but was glad I did. Got to visit with our new priest Fr Marcin. He’s young and vibrant and originally from Poland. Mass went flying by! LOL

Now it’s hot and I am trying to stay cool. And last nght it was cold up in the hills. Had to put on a wool vest and a jacket and my fingers got cold playing my guiutar!

ย

And we will again have lots of music during Mass!

Happy Birthday America!

Go over hereย ย  http://curmudgeonisms.blogspot.com/ย  and check it out. Pretty much sums it up.

Unlike many people who live in this country, I have a piece of paper that proves I am an American. Seeing as I was born in Switzerland and came to this country at the tender age of 11 months, my parents had me naturalized. So yes, I have a paper that says I am an American citizen. It’s one of my most prized possessions. Many people in the world wish they were so lucky!

Isn’t it wonderful to be in the great country in the world? May God continue to bless us all!

Not too much

Goin’ on around here. We went and got Gabe the other day so I been stickin’ pretty close to the house. Maybe after his nap today we will go out and do some stuff.

Had one of my yearling guys and his father come and look at their cattle yesterday. Seemed to think we had plenty of feed for them. That’s a good thing, Martha. ๐Ÿ™‚
