Went and helped a neighbor move a few first calf heifer pairs. Sure was a nice day. 60’s, no wind, just a real lite breeze and partly cloudy.

50 hundreds when we went out and fed the calf this morning. Look at my new colt guy! Gabe rode Beaver when we went out and looked at cattle this morning, so we saddled up Crackerjack in the afternoon and he put the first “ride” on him. He got along fine.

Branding, that is. Started in pretty good season but it was 7:30 when we got done. Just a lot of fiddling around here and there. One of them days. Got a small one tomorrow.
