Cindy brought Hope and the boys out Thursday evening. They rode with me to Newell to get the beef we butchered a few weeks ago. Over $400 to process a beef. Tate had sold half to some guys he works with so what they paid about paid for the processing charge. That leaves me with a half a beef, all cut and wrapped that we will get to eat. I didn’t make a dime on him, but we will get to eat him. Yeah, that ranching is a sure way to get rich! But at least we have good meat. πŸ™‚

Going to get cold for a spell. Hope the wind don’t blow too hard.
