Rain and snow, yes, I said snow, on May 12th. This is South Dakota after all. Anything is possible. Especially, weather wise.
Had some heifers push thru’ a fence so I fixed fence then rode and used the dogs to help me get them back where they belong. Here’s some photo’s from my day.

Today, however, is much better.
The sun is out and the temp is okay…gives me hope that someday we will have spring. Let’s face it folks, snow and rain IS our spring. If your want springtime daffodils, bunnies, ducks and cherry blossoms, move somewhere else!

and the colt is really cute

That dog sure does have the “poor me” look down to a tee! It’s going to be a great summer I’m thinkin’ with all this moisture.
