We had the cows preg checked yesterday. Chance had more open cows than he wanted. I hauled them in to the sale barn and plan on hauling the rest of mine in today. They sure had a lot of cattle there yesterday. The wet weather of the past week must have slowed some down and they came in this week.
I have to pick up Cindy and Fr Tyler at the airport this evening. They have spent the week in California, goofing off. Sounds like they’ve had a nice trip.
What ever crud I had seems to have mostly past, leaving a slight harsh cough in my lungs, tho’ I feel fine. The boys seem, to be all better and over the effects of the H1N1 they had.
Tate and Kass and the boys will be up next weekend for the opening of deer season. I suppose I should get a license. It will be Lige’s birthday so we will have to do something special for him. Maybe go horseback riding with Grampa? LOL
Yep, the sale barn in Fort Collins, CO was full of weigh-ups yesterday. I’m sure after the Halloween snowstorm backlogged everyone, people decided to go with them as soon as they could. I was there checking out cattle for a complete dispersal… we only need a few head, and so we’ll see if we can get some bought today.
Glad you’re feeling better!
