Chance and Hope sold their calves today. Had a neighbor come to help, and he had a couple friends from back east visiting, so we had almost more riders than cattle to gather! Went well and we had them sorted and loaded in no time. Got to the salebarn way early and sat way too long. Market was a little better it sounded like and tho’ it was no barnburner, the kids seemed satisfied with how they weighed and what they brought.
Hope somebody wants painted calves down the road when I need to sell mine! 🙂 Sure was a nice day.
