Going to a neighbors to brand this morning. Will ghet everything in close and under cover as besat I can when I get home.
Seems we in this country always have to get a calf killer of a storm to get enough moisture to get us thru’ the spring/summer. Oh well, if we didn’t like it I guess we could move. At least I have a forewarning about this stuff. My Grampa had to guess at it!
Hope all goes well and you get plenty of moisture and NO snow. It’d be so nice to have winter in winter and spring rains in spring, great calving weather and branding weather too. No dust, enough moisture and no wind. In a perfect world it would be nice if the branding were spaced out in such a way that we could enjoy and digest all that good food (at least in these parts) and savor the season!:)
