Chance on Frankie, spring of 06.
Don’t think I ever posted this on here yet. Guess it will have to do for now Pixie.
I took 3 horses to my colt man today and then stuck around and helped him put some siding up on his house. He had a bad hail storm come thru’ and he’s still getting things re-built.
Two horses for him to ride for a bit and one I am giving him. She’s a nice filly that goes back to a mare he had. She also goes back to Kid and he’s got a half brother to Beaver, out of Kid and wished he had another, so with the prices of horses what they are, especiially fillies, I just told him he could have her. I felt better about it than what the money would have made me feel, if I had sold her. He can always bring her over to my stud, if he wants, also.
Went out this afternoon and got a bucket with some bentonite in it to fix on a tank. Woody and Mijo came up to the fence, thinking I had some grain. Woody stuck his nose in the bucket and couldn’t figure out why there was no grain in it. Curled his lip and looked plumb disgusted. Mijo stuck his nose in the bucket and almost tipped it over, so I made a quick grab for the bucket and spooked Mijo. Man! That little feller can really make a move! Spooked him and he moved about 10 feet in a nanosecond! I can’t wait to be setting on him when he does that with a cow! LOL
Hope you had a good day!
Frankie Blue eyes and a blue eyed “brat in the hat”! Mijo being nosey?? My my my……
