Here you go Pixie!
Not only a horse picture but an old, bearded, fat man too! With aa almost 1 year old pup, who’s got the makings of a fine cowdog, tho’ he ain’t quick enough to catch a dumb ol’ jackrabbit!
We three, and Nip also (who didn’t make the picture) had been out moving some horses around and checking on grass for yearling. We were ambling back towards the house, when bang! A dumb bunny jumped out of the grass right underneath Shadow’s nose. Poor dumb puppy, didn’t stand a chance, tho he gave the rabbit quite a go for a little ways.
Any dog who can’t catch a rabbit that close, is never going to get a better chance!
Oh well, he had his fun trying to catch him and like so many of us, maybe if we caught what we were chasing, we just wouldn’t be satisfied!
By the way, that is Beaver I am setting on, son of Kid and grandson of Woody. Damn, he is one fine horse! š

Damm I am starting to wonder if you ever take a bad picture? We are trying to remember if we have seen beaver….Mad who is our resident expert says NOPE and I can’t believe your blog is a year old! I am thinking you should post a poem or do a poem contest LOL….Just don’t ask us..I am horrible so any poem would have to come from the Blonde! And send a shout out to Aunt Cindy for us!
Yup, you’ve seen Beaver before. He’s my favorite,, if you can’t tell. I have a guy who say’s he wants to buy him. I told him to bring enough money to buy a fair sized ranch, as that is what it would take to buy him! I waited a long time to get to ride a horse this good. He’s not as snorty as Woody and got more life than Kid, the perfect cross!
Changes look good.. Looks all fancy and stuff … I’m impressed…lol.. Love the pic of u on Bev too.. Man that is a good lookin horse.. Just pokin around on the net and stoped by here and thought I would comment… I’m takin a break from packin.. but SHHHH don’t tell Tate.. I’m suppose to be doin it all day.. But today I decided after the last 5 days of havin Braxton Hicks that I would try and relax.. cuz as it turns out those things hurt something aweful… Yeah, I know I’m just bein a wheeny… Anyway..
